The IP-NGOs project was part of the larger Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) Non-Governmental Public Action Programme (NGPA).
As part of the NGPA Programme, in December 2004 the ESRC awarded a grant for the IP-NGOs project to Duncan Matthews, Reader in Intellectual Property Law, School of Law, Queen Mary, University of London.
The IP-NGOs project, which commenced in October 2005 and ended in December 2006, fell under the “Global processes and impacts in non-governmental public action” strand of research of the ESRC NGPA Programme.
Viviana Munoz Tellez was the full-time Research Assistant for the project from 1 October 2005 until 30 June 2006. She is now a Programme Officer for the Innovation, Access to Knowledge and Intellectual Property (IAIP) Programme at South Centre in Geneva.
