Health Action International is an independent international network that works to increase access and improve the rational use of essential medicines. HAI is working towards a world where all people, especially the poor and disadvantaged are able to exercise their human right to health, which requires equitable access to affordable quality health care and essential medicines. The global HAI network includes four other regions: HAI Europe and North America, based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands; HAI Latin America based in Lima, Peru; HAI Africa, based in Nairobi, Kenya; and HAI Asia/Pacific, based in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
