The AIDS Healthcare Foundation, founded in 1987, is a non-profit organisation whose mission is to provide cutting-edge medicine and advocacy, regardless of ability to pay. AHF is committed to: working to end the AIDS epidemic through prevention, research and advocacy, providing the finest medical care, assuring that medically indigent persons infected with HIV have equal access to healthcare, partnering with other organisations in order to insure appropriate outreach and continuity of care, advocating for the rights of all persons living with HIV/AIDS, with particular emphasis on the most underserved, including women, gay men, people of colour, the incarcerated and drug users, and advocating for equal access to healthcare for all persons.
